Welcome to our team! Led by Artistic Director Dr. François Koh and President Sophia Cho, our organization brings together a group of talented individuals and a select ensemble of highly qualified musicians. Together, we strive to create inspiring performances that resonate deeply with our audience. Join us as we embark on a musical journey filled with passion and creativity.
At the beginning of 2023, Dr. François Koh and Sophia Cho launched the intimate chamber concert series "Salon de Musique" with the mission of bringing high-quality music to audiences. They inaugurated the series with a classical guitar solo concert on February 19, 2024, followed by six more performances featuring cello, violin, flute, and piano through May 2025. Together with esteemed guest artists, Dr. Koh has performed a diverse repertoire ranging from classical masterpieces to popular music. Building upon this success and expanding their artistic scope, they proudly introduce Orchestre Salon de Musique, a string orchestra that will present its inaugural concert on October 3, 2026.

Our Story

At the beginning of 2023, Dr. François Koh and Sophia Cho launched the intimate chamber concert series "Salon de Musique" aiming to bring high-quality music to audiences. They inaugurated the series with a classical guitar solo concert on February 14, followed by five more performances featuring cello, violin, and piano through December 2024. The guest artists are all highly qualified classical musicians, and together with Dr. Koh, they perform a repertoire ranging from classical masterpieces to popular music. This success has inspired them to bring their performances to a wider audience.

Our Services

Solo

A solo classical guitar offers a warm, intimate sound that suits romantic settings and elegant atmospheres, with a versatile repertoire spanning classical, flamenco, jazz, and popular music. Its compact size makes it perfect for small venues and outdoor events, and it remains the most cost-effective option for high-quality live music.

Duo

classical guitar with a melody instrument, such as a violin, flute, or cello, enhances the richness and emotional depth of the music. The duo format balances harmony, rhythm, and lyrical lines, making it ideal for weddings and anniversaries. It requires minimal space and offers an affordable upgrade in musical sophistication.

Trio

Classical guitar, a melody instrument, and a low register instrument such as cello, creates a fuller and more dynamic sound. This setup is excellent for larger spaces or events seeking a prominent musical presence, with a repertoire ranging from classical chamber works to lively popular tunes. While requiring slightly more space, it remains manageable for most venues and provides an excellent balance of cost and impact.

Quartet and More

Quartets and larger ensembles deliver an orchestral-like experience with intricate harmonies and layered textures. They are perfect for formal events, grand celebrations, or large weddings where an impressive musical performance is desired. Although requiring more space and preparation, these ensembles create a stunning visual and auditory centerpiece. While they represent a premium option, they offer an unparalleled luxurious musical atmosphere.
